Buildium is an all-in-one property management software. Its cloud-based platform is purpose-built for the unique tasks of property managers and real estate professionals.

The challenge
As part of the acquisition and merger of TenantLoop to Buildium, we came to redesign the mobile experience to create an industry-leading mobile app for property managers on the go.
Buildium users neglected the previous mobile experience due to the lack of essential features of their day-to-day tasks and the poor usability since it was an outdated mobile app in maintenance mode.

The solution
We started from scratch. We used modern usability and interface patterns to create an easy-to-use mobile app with features and tools for property managers to do their work from their phones.
We built core features vital to property managers' day-to-day responsibilities, like managing their properties, tracking and updating maintenance requests, receiving payments on the go, and more.

The result
Buildium mobile app became the property manager's go-to solution to manage their properties on the go. So much so that Buildium became more known for its mobile app in the property manager software industry, gaining deals over the competition for its mobile capabilities.
The Buildium mobile app was awarded a Gold Stevie Award for App and mobile Website in the Real Estate category in 2019. Also, the mobile app rating 4.7 on the App Store and Google Play Store became the highest rating app in the property manager software industry.
